Container arrives August 14th What a great buying trip. We spent a couple of weeks in France enjoying the food, wine, villages, markets, Shops, and the friendly antique dealers. The weather was warm and the flowers were in bloom and the wild poppies were everywhere. We found-More unique green canning jars-Some very old farm tables-Lots of metal garden furniture-Galvanized grape pickers back pack-French garden trugs-lots of fabric & ticking-Bread & cheese boards-Wine bottle carriers-All sizes of shelves and hooks-Zinc finials & weather vanes-Jardinières-And Wine bottle corkers –We also found some miniature figures called feves. (Ask us about this French tradition for Ascension Day) Then it was on to Holland through Belgium going to antique fairs, dealers, friends and village markets. We found more French antiques. Dinning tables of all kinds-Three piece parlor set-fabulous display case-Rosewood armoire & night stand-Wicker & canvas car picnic basket-Very rare leather game bags-Artists easel-Hanging cabinets-Fish creels-Enamel wear-Iron fencing-Sleigh and cow bells-sour kraut crock-Tall case clocks from Sweden-Beautiful full size butchers block. Our packing list goes on and on. You will have to come see for yourself.
